Academy of the Arts Educators teach courses as needed in the Arts area (Art, Photography, Calligraphy, Antiques, Languages, and other courses created for AOA).  Classes meet 7 weeks (2 hours per week, one day); workshops scheduled on weekend (length varies).

• Preparing syllabus and all materials for classes; providing materials to be copied at least 3 days prior to start date
• Scheduling field trips (all details)
• Communicating with students through emails and phone calls
• Instructing students for the course/workshop
• Communicating with supervisor prior to, during, and following the course
• Having students complete class/instructor evaluations at the last class and submitting to supervisor

• Evidence of proficiency in the area of instruction (must be included on resume)

University-level courses completed in arts; Bachelor's degree in art area preferred
